Booking Policy

ACCOMMODATION BOOKINGS

CHRISTMAS AND EASTER SCHOOL HOLIDAYS

  • Bookings of minimum one week up until one month prior to school holidays.
  • Shorter bookings taken at parks managers discretion after this time or earlier if the booking can be added to the beginning or end of an existing booking.

LONG WEEKENDS AND SPECIAL EVENTS

  • Booking of minimum three nights taken until one month prior to the long weekend or special event.

ALL OTHER PERIODS

  • Booking of minimum two nights with one night bookings taken on the day of arrival.

SITE BOOKINGS

CHRISTMAS SCHOOL HOLIDAYS

  • Bookings of minimum one week until end of October.
  • Shorter bookings taken from 1 November or earlier if the booking can be added to the beginning or end of an existing booking (site preference is NOT guaranteed).

EASTER AND SCHOOL HOLIDAYS

  • Bookings of one week taken until one month prior.
  • Shorter bookings taken at park managers discretion after this time or earlier if the booking can be added to the beginning or end of an existing booking.

LONG WEEKENDS AND SPECIAL EVENTS

  • Booking of minimum three nights taken until one month prior to the long weekend or special event.

Management reserves the right to relocate or change the site number/accommodation number after booking.

GENERAL TERMS

Macleay Valley Coast Holiday Parks do not accept bookings from persons under the age of 18 years of age. All guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult such as a parent or guardian. We reserve the right to cancel any reservation where this condition is not met.

Payments/Deposits

ACCOMMODATION BOOKINGS

HIGH/PREMIUM SEASON

  • First night (accommodation) and $100.00 (sites) at the time of booking. •
  • Christmas balance is to be paid in full by 31 October. •
  • Easter balance to be paid in full one month prior to arrival.

MID SEASON

  • First night (accommodation) and $100 (sites, or in full if the tariff is less than $100) at the time of booking with the balance to be paid 30 days prior to arrival.

LOW SEASON

  • First nights’ accommodation and $50.00 (sites) at time of booking with balance on arrival.

Where any bookings are made within 7 days of arrival, accommodation or sites, full payment is required at the time of booking.

Credits

  • Credits can only be taken on direct bookings and excludes any bookings via online travel agents (Expedia, Wotif, Booking.com etc.)
  • Monies paid against a booking that has been cancelled as per the cancellation terms can be held in credit for a future booking.
  • Credits are valid for 12 months from the date a booking was cancelled.
  • Credits may be refundable for up to 12 months, if a refund was applicable at time of cancellation. After this point any monies paid are forfeited.
  • Credits may be transferred between any Macleay Valley Coast Holiday Park.
  • Any credits on bookings from 15 March –  31 May, 2020 (bookings cancelled due to COVID-19) are valid for 24 months from the cancellation date.  If a refund was applicable at time of cancellation, these credits are refundable for up to 24 months and after this point any monies paid are forfeited. Any bonus credit offered at time of cancellation is non-refundable or transferable.

Refund Policy

In response to COVID-19, we are offering additional flexibility to our booking policy for guests staying with us before 31 August 2020. For information on this, see our COVID-19 information page.

Refunds of deposits and fees paid are available under the following circumstances:

HIGH/PREMIUM SEASON

  • Cancellations providing more than 28 days’ notice in relation to the scheduled arrival date are refundable, less a $30 administration fee.
  • Cancellations inside 28 days of the scheduled arrival date will result in forfeiture of all monies paid.

MID SEASON

  • Cancellations providing more than 14 days’ notice in relation to the scheduled arrival date are refundable, less a $30 administration fee.
  • Cancellations inside 14 days of the scheduled arrival date will result in forfeiture of all monies paid.

LOW SEASON

  • Cancellations providing more than 24 hours’ notice in relation to scheduled arrival date are refundable, less a $30 administration fee.
  • Cancellations inside 24 hours of the scheduled arrival date will result in forfeiture of all monies paid.

Where any bookings are made within 7 days of arrival, accommodation or sites, full payment is required at the time of booking.

PLEASE NOTE: Where a deposit or prepayment is to be refunded, an administration fee is to be charged.Alternatively, the total refund amount maybe transferred to a future booking (to be used within 12 months) and no administration fee will apply.

ONLINE RESERVATIONS All online reservations require payment in full at the time of booking. Should guests prefer to only pay an initial deposit (subject to the conditions above) they will need to call the reservations staff to confirm their reservation. Some rates and specials displayed online may not be bookable over the phone or may require payment in full regardless of booking method. Remember to check the conditions of all specials advertised online before confirming a reservation or contact our friendly reservation staff for further information.

Subletting of accommodation

Accommodation/sites are provided to the booking party for the guest(s) as named on the booking. Accommodation must not be sublet or resold by the booking party for commercial gain without our prior written consent. Genuine group bookings are not affected.
